This College is situated 60 km south of Gorakhpur district by the National Highway number 29, it is 45 km. west of Deoria City and 45 km. east of Azamgarh city at Pawan Salil Saryu Taal.
This college was Established in the year 1960 with a motto of educating the poor and asset less children of eastern UP in Arts and Agriculture, and with the needs in demand a Science stream was also added to this institution in the year 1964. By the year 1971 it became one of the most prominent College imparting education in Arts, Science and Agriculture streams. This college has played a major role in decorating, uplifting the social, culture, scientific and political conscious of the people of the area.
There are 100 allotted seats for B.Ed. course and 50 allotted Seats for the B.P.Ed. course in the College approved by NCTE.
The Commerce Stream is in the pipeline of the college and very soon it is going to flow in the very coming session. .
